As we get ready for the grand release of Bajirao Mastani (yay!), there’s one thing that we’d like to really, really stress on – Ranveer Singh is awesome!
Sure, there are haters, and yes, everyone is entitled to choose which celeb they like or dislike. If you don’t think Ranveer is “all that”, it’s okay, we’ll make our peace with it. However, here are 7 things that you should never, ever say to a die-hard Ranveer fan. You will not like the reactions.
1. “Ranveer looks like Arjun Kapoor”
No! Let’s get this very clear – Ranveer does not look like Arjun, so don’t even try to imply that he’s, maybe, trying to imitate his best friend. Ranveer has a super unique style, thank you very much.
2. “He is always trying to copy Anil Kapoor/Govinda. Hee hee”
The man has admitted to being a die-hard fan of both Anil and Govinda and its called “getting inspired by”, not “copying”. Would you say that Shammi Kapoor copied Elvis? Don’t!
3. “He never experiments with his roles”

Seriously? He doesn’t? Last we checked, his characters in Ram Leela, Dil Dhadakne Do and Gunday were polar opposites of each other.
Whatever it is, he is looking good. Frankly, if we had the panache to pull off a technicolour suit, we’d do it, and so would you. Don’t be jelly.
5. “Puhleez! He doesn’t have the star power that SRK/Salman does”
Are you even listening to yourself? Are you!? Ranveer has only been around for 5 years. Some comparison!
6. “His films work because the heroines are really good”
Yes, because when they said “Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl“, they clearly meant “Ladies vs. Anushka Sharma” and “Ram Leela” was “Deepika Deepika”.
7. “Ranveer is so full of himself!”
That’s a pretty big assumption to make. You probably know him from Adam, and meet him everyday. Right?
